Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo West 2020 Preview

Come out for some sunshine, fun and top-notch education—to be a step ahead of the rest!

The debut of our three distinct educational tracks for every level of pet care professional was a big hit at the Pet Boarding & Daycare Expo East—so we’re bringing them to the west coast!

In addition to the restructuring of the education, this year’s West Coast Expo will feature more exhibitors than ever before, as well as a separate half-day of daycare-specific education on Monday, prior to the Keynote kick-off.

The three educational tracks will include the Owner/Manager track, the Financial track and the Staff/Continuing Education track. All three tracks will run simultaneously, so pick the one that best fits your needs, or jump back and forth between classes, depending upon your interests.

The Owner/Manager track will include seminars to motivate, empower and educate the seasoned owner or manager, or those just starting out and looking to excel in their role. Some of the educational topics include marketing, management success, building and design, and handling difficult situations with clients, pets and employees.

The unprecedented new series of seminars in the Financial track is designed to help maximize your revenues, business value and overall success. The industry’s most powerful, credible and recognized professionals come together under one roof to share game-changing insights on how to survive—and thrive—in this increasingly competitive, multi-billion-dollar industry. 

Be sure to also bring your staff! The Staff/Continuing Education track will feature in-depth information on handling dogs, understanding their behavior, cat and special needs boarding, as well as controlling disease in the boarding and daycare environment.

Following the four-hour “Dynamic Dog Daycare” program on Monday, will be a Keynote Address presented by Kristin Morrison, founder of Six-Figure Pet Business Academy. After the Keynote Address, be sure to stick around for the Live Oak Bank and National Kennel Sales Meet & Greet where you can enjoy some drinks and food with your industry peers.

Another great opportunity to share ideas and discuss what you learned with other attendees is at our ever-popular Round Table Luncheons, which are available to attend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. These can be purchased separately or as part of one of our education packages.
